Sender ID is a function on the bulk SMS messaging platforms that lets you to put your name, organization’s name, subject as the sender of an SMS message to recipients.
Sender ID gives the bulk SMS message an identity. Sender IDs are maximum of 11 character numbers.

 There are majorly three types of bulk SMS Sender IDs

  1. Alphanumeric: This is a combination of numbers and alphabets e.g. School8965
  2. Alpha: This is purely alphabets, words, or acronyms e.g. School, Shop, Boutique
  3. Numeric: This is purely numbers e.g. 08062145589, 78909309

  2. Use words or acronyms as Sender IDs
  3. You can use generic sender IDs and begin the body of the message with your name, organization’s name or subject.
  4. Ensure your sender ID is whitelisted or registered by us.
